Tired of long battles with school work? Exhausted from doing the same thing over and over and never getting different results? Is your child extremely bright or smart, but can’t read or write simple words?
As a mom of a student with learning challenges, I understand what you face everyday! As a licensed Davis Method facilitator, I’ve been able to help many individuals, including my own child.
Dyslexia is one of the most misunderstood learning styles in today’s educational landscape. It literally means “difficulty with words,” and most people associate dyslexia with letter reversals and reading problems. However, dyslexia actually stems from a creative thinking style and encompasses a much larger umbrella of learning challenges often labeled as learning disabilities in schools.
Individuals who are labeled or diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD or ADHD) tend to be highly imaginative and creative thinkers. Often they have difficulty harnessing their ideas and translating thought to action. They know what they want to accomplish, but struggle when it comes to completing tasks and establishing organization in their lives.
The Davis Autism Approach works in harmony with the autistic individual’s way of being. Its purpose is to allow autistic individuals to participate more fully in life.
People on the autistic spectrum are not broken – they do not need fixing. They have their own unique gifts and talents and they have the right to retain their beautiful uniqueness.
TLP is a home-based therapy that is a safe, effective, drug-free approach that helps the brain process sensory input more efficiently. This leads to reduced stress, a calmer central nervous system and improved auditory skills that are required to effectively listen, learn, and communicate.
Tracy is amazing! My son Is completing 5th grade now reading at grade level! He is independently doing his work instead of sitting distracted and not doing anything…almost in a state of paralysis. He takes his time to focus on the words Makes my mom heart very happy! Thank u Tracy ur the best! We completed Tracy’s program April 2021 he was reading at 2nd grade level.

Tracy did an awesome job with our son. She has a very caring personality. You can tell she really cares for her students and wants the best for them. She is great at giving positive reinforcement and encouragement. Our son went from reading at a first-grade level to a fourth-grade level just in the time he spent with her. He also learned to tie his shoes, which before he was unable to do. He was super excited about that. He was so proud of himself - he wears his tennis shoes everywhere now instead of his sandal even though it's summer. His confidence has jumped up a lot due to Tracy. Thanks for everything!

Our daughter struggles with dyslexia, adhd and anxiety. She completed the Minnesota Learning Solutions dyslexia program and has learned SO much! She has a different outlook on reading, doesn’t fight it as much and fewer frustration breakdowns when she doesn’t succeed with something on her first try. She understands now that she has gained the tools to help her grow and succeed. I would definitely recommend this program for kiddos who are struggling with any learning difficulties. The self confidence she has gained with it, is a difference between night and day.

My daughter, Ruby, (9) absolutely loved Miss Tracy. She felt at ease right away in such a peaceful atmosphere and was able to jump right into learning. The tools Ruby learned at Minnesota Learning Solutions have helped her with reading, writing, and even playing piano! I couldn't believe such drastic changes could take place in such a short amount of time. I've been able to see that the way Ruby learns is simply different, not defective and that there are actually benefits to her way of learning!

"Tracy! Ethan just had his yearly testing and his reading comprehension scores jumped from 7th grade to 12th grade! His spelling jumped 2 grade levels!! I'm in tears. Thank you so much for your program and for working with him!! It worked!!"

Tracy is wonderful! She has helped two of my kids with very practical skills, both in math and in reading. My son jumped 6 grade levels in reading and comprehension after working with her! My daughter is able to do math with no tears! That is a huge win! Tracy is caring, compassionate, and has an arsenal of tools to really help her clients feel successful. Best of all, you don't have to work with her very long to see results! I highly recommend MN Learning Solutions for your kids with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, or dyscalculia (trouble with math).

Patrick’s time working with Tracy was helpful and encouraging. She understood his learning style, knew where to point to for overcoming his difficulties, and was incredibly kind to him the entire time. He liked how easy it was to talk to her. While he is still working through the at-home portion of the program, he has already seen results with using the methods and insights learned through the MN Learning Solutions program. He is able to orient and master information in a way he could not before. I am excited to see how much his reading, spelling, and endurance in learning continues to improve as he spends this coming school year working through trigger words and practicing the reading skills.

It all begins with a get acquainted call. We will discuss your needs and build a package that works for you!
In our first consultation, I’ll listen to your story: what’s working, what’s not, and your goals for your unique situation.
With offices in Monticello, we are proud to bring the Davis Method to the Northwest Twin Cities. We’re easy to find, with shopping and restaurants nearby.
We know you’re busy. We’ll work together to make a plan that works for your schedule.
Every student and every mind is unique. That’s why we’ll make a plan that works specifically for how you learn and think. We know one size does NOT fit all.
Kids with learning challenges often face years of frustration and failure, which beats down their confidence and self-worth. The Davis Method works with each student’s strengths, restores their hope, and builds their confidence and self-esteem.
Not only will your student experience breakthroughs and success like never before, but you will know exactly how to continue your success at home.
If your child has been getting extra help but nothing is sticking, it’s usually not an effort issue.
Many of the students we work with are bright and capable, but the way they are being taught doesn’t match how their brain processes information.
We take a different approach by helping them understand what’s creating the confusion and giving them tools to resolve it. When that happens, learning starts to make sense.
This is more common than you might think.
Reading struggles often continue when the root cause hasn’t been addressed. Many programs focus on repetition or memorization, but if a child is experiencing confusion, more practice won’t fix it.
We focus on identifying where the breakdown is happening and helping the student gain clarity, so reading becomes something they can understand, not just work harder at.
Yes.
We work with individuals with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. The common thread is that they are often strong, capable thinkers who process information differently.
Our approach is designed to work with that difference rather than against it.
This is something we see often.
Many of the students we work with are very intelligent but have difficulty with reading, writing, or attention. This can be confusing for both the child and the parent.
When we understand how they are processing information, we can give them tools that align with how they think. This often leads to increased confidence along with academic improvement.
Tutoring typically focuses on practicing skills or re-teaching material.
Our approach focuses on:
Understanding how the brain is processing information
Identifying what is causing confusion
Giving tools to create clarity
It’s not about doing more of the same. It’s about approaching learning in a different way.
That response usually comes from repeated confusion.
When something doesn’t make sense, and a child is asked to keep trying harder, frustration builds. Over time, this can look like avoidance, resistance, or low confidence.
As clarity improves, we often see frustration decrease and willingness increase naturally.
Yes.
We work with children, teens, and adults. It’s never too late to understand how you learn and to develop tools that make things easier.
Every individual is different, but many families notice meaningful shifts sooner than they expected.
Because we are addressing the root of the difficulty rather than working around it, changes often happen more efficiently.
Yes.
While we are located in Monticello, Minnesota, we work with families from across the state and beyond. We’ve had families travel from other states when they’ve been seeking a different solution after exhausting local options.
Programs are one-on-one and individualized.
We meet the student where they are and move at a pace that allows for understanding, not just completion. The goal is for the student to truly “get it,” not just get through it.
That’s completely okay.
The best next step is a conversation. We can talk through what you’re seeing, what’s been tried, and whether this approach makes sense for your child.

To have compassion and respect for every living thing on this fragile and beautiful earth which we share, Is the most important thing we can do.
can't believe what a difference 5 days made. I wish we would have heard of the Davis Dyslexia program sooner and gotten her help before she was older and her self-esteem had plummeted, but that too has improved so much. She has so much more confidence than she used to have. I'm so proud of her and the progress she's made and so grateful to you, Tracy Doyle for forever changing her life for the better.
