Tired of long battles with school work? Exhausted from doing the same thing over and over and never getting different results? Is your child extremely bright or smart, but can’t read or write simple words?
As a mom of a student with learning challenges, I understand what you face everyday! As a licensed Davis Method facilitator, I’ve been able to help many individuals, including my own child.
Dyslexia is one of the most misunderstood learning styles in today’s educational landscape. It literally means “difficulty with words,” and most people associate dyslexia with letter reversals and reading problems. However, dyslexia actually stems from a creative thinking style and encompasses a much larger umbrella of learning challenges often labeled as learning disabilities in schools.
Individuals who are labeled or diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD or ADHD) tend to be highly imaginative and creative thinkers. Often they have difficulty harnessing their ideas and translating thought to action. They know what they want to accomplish, but struggle when it comes to completing tasks and establishing organization in their lives.
The Davis Autism Approach works in harmony with the autistic individual’s way of being. Its purpose is to allow autistic individuals to participate more fully in life.
People on the autistic spectrum are not broken – they do not need fixing. They have their own unique gifts and talents and they have the right to retain their beautiful uniqueness.
TLP is a home-based therapy that is a safe, effective, drug-free approach that helps the brain process sensory input more efficiently. This leads to reduced stress, a calmer central nervous system and improved auditory skills that are required to effectively listen, learn, and communicate.
Tracy is amazing! My son Is completing 5th grade now reading at grade level! He is independently doing his work instead of sitting distracted and not doing anything…almost in a state of paralysis. He takes his time to focus on the words Makes my mom heart very happy! Thank u Tracy ur the best! We completed Tracy’s program April 2021 he was reading at 2nd grade level.
Bobby C.Tracy did an awesome job with our son. She has a very caring personality. You can tell she really cares for her students and wants the best for them. She is great at giving positive reinforcement and encouragement. Our son went from reading at a first-grade level to a fourth-grade level just in the time he spent with her. He also learned to tie his shoes, which before he was unable to do. He was super excited about that. He was so proud of himself - he wears his tennis shoes everywhere now instead of his sandal even though it's summer. His confidence has jumped up a lot due to Tracy. Thanks for everything!
The StengleinsOur daughter struggles with dyslexia, adhd and anxiety. She completed the Minnesota Learning Solutions dyslexia program and has learned SO much! She has a different outlook on reading, doesn’t fight it as much and fewer frustration breakdowns when she doesn’t succeed with something on her first try. She understands now that she has gained the tools to help her grow and succeed. I would definitely recommend this program for kiddos who are struggling with any learning difficulties. The self confidence she has gained with it, is a difference between night and day.
Jennifer B.My daughter, Ruby, (9) absolutely loved Miss Tracy. She felt at ease right away in such a peaceful atmosphere and was able to jump right into learning. The tools Ruby learned at Minnesota Learning Solutions have helped her with reading, writing, and even playing piano! I couldn't believe such drastic changes could take place in such a short amount of time. I've been able to see that the way Ruby learns is simply different, not defective and that there are actually benefits to her way of learning!
Kristen A."Tracy! Ethan just had his yearly testing and his reading comprehension scores jumped from 7th grade to 12th grade! His spelling jumped 2 grade levels!! I'm in tears. Thank you so much for your program and for working with him!! It worked!!"
Jen H.Tracy is wonderful! She has helped two of my kids with very practical skills, both in math and in reading. My son jumped 6 grade levels in reading and comprehension after working with her! My daughter is able to do math with no tears! That is a huge win! Tracy is caring, compassionate, and has an arsenal of tools to really help her clients feel successful. Best of all, you don't have to work with her very long to see results! I highly recommend MN Learning Solutions for your kids with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, or dyscalculia (trouble with math).
Jen H.Patrick’s time working with Tracy was helpful and encouraging. She understood his learning style, knew where to point to for overcoming his difficulties, and was incredibly kind to him the entire time. He liked how easy it was to talk to her. While he is still working through the at-home portion of the program, he has already seen results with using the methods and insights learned through the MN Learning Solutions program. He is able to orient and master information in a way he could not before. I am excited to see how much his reading, spelling, and endurance in learning continues to improve as he spends this coming school year working through trigger words and practicing the reading skills.

The Davis® method addresses the root cause of learning disabilities. This positive, creative-based program is DESIGNED for the learning style of the visual-spatial person. It uses the natural strengths and talents of the client’s personal learning style. Davis works with the dyslexic’s natural strength of thinking in pictures, talents of their personal learning style, and builds meaning through hands on mastery of what other programs call high frequency or sight words. In Davis we call these trigger words because they trigger disorientations that cause confusion.
Davis builds a solid foundation for focus and learning and empowers the dyslexic to utilize personal tools to control and correct the learning issues that have been developed. Because it works with the dyslexic strength the change happens quickly….often the client sees a growth in reading of 2 or more grade levels in 30 hours. Clients will learn HOW THEY LEARN and leave with the ability to implement the knowledge obtained during the program into daily life.
The program does not use phonics, colored-overlays, rote memorization, or repetitive drill. These address only the symptoms, not the root cause of Dyslexia.
Davis Programs are based on the finding that many individuals who exhibit learning disability symptoms have a natural ability to alter their mental and physical perceptions. They can use this perceptual ability to facilitate creativity, improve physical performance, enhance thinking, or resolve confusions. However, when they attempt to use this same ability to resolve confusions regarding language symbols, it can cause unwanted perceptual distortions and noticeable disorientations that affect vision, hearing, balance, motor skills, time sense, and speech.
Individuals who possess and use this thinking style can be shown how to control their perceptions so disorientation no longer interferes with their ability to learn. During programs, clients gain experience using this skill as they begin to clear up many of their basic confusions regarding letters, words, numbers and other language symbols. They also learn to use special study skills uniquely adapted to their way of learning, thinking, perceiving and controlling focus.
Davis programs are comprehensive, allowing the student to gain improvements in all areas of development: physical, intellectual, social, and emotional. These four areas of human development are intertwined, meaning that the strengths or weaknesses of one area will directly affect the strengths or weaknesses of the other areas. Imagine how doubly exciting it is for the child who completes a program week with significantly increased reading skills, but now can also catch a ball or jump rope for the first time! Davis programs have the power to fuel the total child, not just one’s academic struggles.
Davis Programs are not a substitute for other effective educational or therapeutic programs a person may need. Nor is it a cure for learning disabilities. What they do provide is knowledge and experience with self-help tools. These tools, when used, will unlock a person’s learning potentials, as well as accelerate and enhance the effectiveness of other forms of assistance.
Orton-Gillingham is phonics based…teaching/drilling on the sounds of phonograms, rules of decoding and encoding, and intense repetition. This works on the deficit of the dyslexic and over a long time can show progress.

To ensure that the program will be effective and beneficial an Initial consult is required. The evaluation takes into account how aware they are of their learning difficulties and their level of motivation to correct them. Maturity is a factor in these qualifications, so children under 8 may not qualify, however we do offer a Young Learners Program for ages 5-8. Yes! At the age of 38, Ron Davis discovered the tools that allowed him to correct perception and, for the first time in his life, read an entire book in one sitting. After his discovery, the program was further tested and developed by working with adult dyslexic volunteers.
Motivated adults bring a level of maturity and self-awareness that make the program extremely rewarding and successful!
Clients leave the program with the tools of basic literacy—including:
Implementing the tools into every day life, as well as doing Davis Symbol Mastery® follow-up on trigger words, is necessary to ensure continued success with the program.
All counseling is done on a one-to-one basis designed to fit the individual needs of a particular client. Generally, the initial Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program includes all or most of the following:

can't believe what a difference 5 days made. I wish we would have heard of the Davis Dyslexia program sooner and gotten her help before she was older and her self-esteem had plummeted, but that too has improved so much. She has so much more confidence than she used to have. I'm so proud of her and the progress she's made and so grateful to you, Tracy Doyle for forever changing her life for the better.
